George Pond was born in Texas and resides in the Austin, Texas area.  He has devoted his career to strategic planning and fundraising for non-profit organizations that advance freedom, education and justice.  

Over the course of his career he has raised over $150 million to support key non-profit causes for conservative policy think tanks that have instituted successful reform programs in the areas of education, tax policy, criminal justice and health care.  George has championed the Second Amendment through his work with the National Rifle Association.  He has been responsible for all strategic giving and development activities with high net worth donors in Texas. He raised over $30 million in cash and pledges for the NRA over an 11 year period.  George has also worked with the Justice Foundation that took Roe v. Wade back to the U.S. Supreme Court to end abortion in the United States as well as the National Rifle Association as one of its top fundraisers to support the Second Amendment.  

As a “sideline” interest, George introduced the tilapia fish to the United States by importing it from Israel in the 1980’s as part of an aquaculture start-up.  

George and his wife, Robyn, assisted in writing The New Legacy: Thoughts on Politics, Family, and Power by Tieman H. Dippel, Jr.  The book highlights historical Texas values and advocates for the common good through selfless statesmanship.
