John has spent most of his career in the financial services sector working with RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) a large multi-national banking group where he held a number of roles including global head of sales at RBC Global Private Banking, as well as an executive role at a Swiss based privately held wealth management conglomerate which focuses on investments, banking and trust companies where he served as CEO of a group of international trust companies as well as a member of the group executive committee.
After a successful career in the financial services industry John founded GFP Alliance Limited (Global Fiduciary Partner Alliance). GFP is an association of some of the world’s most prominent independent advisors. During his career John has enjoyed the opportunity to work with some of the worlds’ top independent advisors in such fields as law, taxation, accountancy, banking, insurance, investments, citizenship and residency, healthcare, art and collectables, yachts and aircraft, personal and commercial real estate, privately held businesses, majority shareholders in publicly traded businesses, cyber and personal security experts to name a few.
John has presented to numerous professional associations and wealth groups such as the Met Circle in New York, TTN (Transnational Taxation Network) and Tiger 21 on topics around intergenerational wealth transfer, asset protection, private trust companies as a tool for wealthy families.
