Leck Shannon’s expertise and focus are on exploring the interaction between market function and government policy within the healthcare industry. He currently serves as the health care program officer at the Charles Koch Institute where he guides all health policy and higher education grants and initiatives. He previously led the health care program at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, which has played a significant role in shaping many federal and state health reform efforts. Prior to this role, Leck was involved with a health care analytics startup that grew to be a leading firm in the industry. Leck received his MPP from George Mason University and his BA from Auburn University.
