City: New York

Education: Georgetown University

Passion & Hobbies: Healthcare Philanthropy

Michelle is the Founder of Harboring Hearts, a nonprofit organization established over 16 years ago to support critically ill heart and organ transplant patients and their families. Through emergency financial assistance, hospital-based educational initiatives, and restorative recreational programs, Harboring Hearts addresses both the emotional and practical challenges faced by families during prolonged medical crises.

In parallel with her philanthropic work, Michelle is a Principal at Melkonian Capital, her family investment platform. She is actively involved in the development of the Mandarin Oriental Grand Cayman Hotel and Residences, a landmark luxury project conceived in collaboration with world-class architects and designers. Her work reflects a long-term, values-driven approach to capital deployment, combining institutional-quality execution with a strong sense of stewardship.

Michelle brings a unique perspective that bridges purpose-driven impact and disciplined investment, aligning closely with Respada’s mission to serve families, founders, and institutions with clarity, integrity, and long-term vision.
