Sai Nandi

Sai is a Portfolio Manager at AIG Investments, a multinational finance and insurance giant where he oversees the firm’s healthcare and life sciences investments across the capital structure. Sai also holds a Visiting Scientist position at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, regularly reviews industry’s hottest therapeutic areas and has authored over a dozen articles in high-impact journals. 

Sai has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry across roles as an investor, research scientist, consultant and entrepreneur and has participated in public and private transactions, aggregating over $2 Billion. He also serves as reviewer and board member of several federal funding agencies, biopharmaceutical companies, scientific societies and philanthropic organizations. Prior to joining AIG, he was a Healthcare Investment Advisor at GC Finance, a Hedge Fund turned Family Office and a Business Development Consultant at the New York State Center for Biotechnology.

Sai received his D.Phil. (PhD) from Oxford University where he was a SKP Clarendon Scholar and carried out postdoctoral research at CSHL where he was awarded an NCI NYSTAR Cancer Biology Fellowship for his work.
