Tim Trela is a partner member of Respada, an international family office platform that provides strategic opportunities and a full suite of resources to affluent families and UHNW individuals. Tim brings over 40 years experience to his advisory practice which works with family offices in the areas of governance, asset protection and advanced planning. He is also a registered investment banker and provides capital access and solutions to his clients. Tim has leveraged his advisory experience with his past endeavors in running a fortune 300 public company in heavy industry as well as a consulting partner in a renown professional services firm. He has an MBA from Chicago Booth, an MA from McMaster University and a BA from Wabash College. He is a board member for ChildLink, a Chicago based not for profit providing adolescent child care and the Alberico Scholarship foundation which awards scholarships to colleg bound and vocational students in need.
Tim lives in Chicago with his wife Maryclare and his children, Lauren and Adrian who are both pursuing professional careers.
