Ankur Shah

Ankur Shah is an accomplished investment manager with more than two decades of experience in equities, fundamental analysis, and options. A graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA, 2004) and Pomona College (Economics with Honors, 1999), he has built a reputation for identifying high-quality businesses and generating superior risk-adjusted returns over the long term.

Mr. Shah currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Ashva Capital Management LLC, which he founded in 2017 to pursue an independent investment strategy based on his refined methodology for quality growth investing. Under his leadership, Ashva Capital maintains a concentrated portfolio of companies that exhibit durable competitive advantages, strong pricing power, high gross margins, and robust free cash flow. He places great emphasis on thorough fundamental analysis and transparent communication with investors, believing that alignment of interests and accountability are critical to sustained performance.

In addition to his role at Ashva Capital, Mr. Shah is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Silverline Global Asset Management FZCO, a privately held family office managing the Shah family’s wealth, philanthropic efforts, and business interests. At Silverline, he oversees asset allocation and long-term preservation strategies, applying the same disciplined, research-driven approach that characterizes his work in public markets.

Before establishing these ventures, Mr. Shah gained substantial industry expertise in prominent financial institutions. He served as Director of Equity Research at Arqaam Capital, where he led a team of analysts covering the MENA banking sector. Earlier, at Guggenheim Partners, he was a Senior Equity Analyst responsible for financial sector investments in global long-only mutual funds and long/short alternative funds. Mr. Shah began his career at Bank of America Securities, developing a strong grounding in investment banking and capital markets.
