Puseletso Mbele

Puseletso Mbele is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sompisi Crescent Investments, a firm focused on delivering transformative private market solutions. With over 20 years of experience in South Africa’s financial services industry, she is a recognized leader in infrastructure investing, private equity, and investment consulting.

Prior to founding Sompisi, she was a Partner at Moruo Private Markets, where she contributed to thought leadership on LP strategy and the role of private equity in economic growth. Her earlier leadership roles include serving as Head of Investment Consulting at Novare and key positions at RisCura and Sasfin Securities.

Puseletso’s expertise spans asset allocation, manager research, private equity, hedge funds, ESG, and impact investing. In 2024, she co-founded South Africa’s first black female-led alternative multi-asset management firm, aiming to tailor private market access for institutional investors.

She is a frequent speaker on infrastructure and gender inclusion, advocating for women-led businesses in Africa’s infrastructure value chain. Puseletso holds a B.Com in Risk Management from UNISA and has served on multiple financial sector boards since 2018.
